Prababcia była surową kobietą, babcia mówiła, że była
podła. Mama ma z nią najlepsze wspomnienia, mówi, że
była bardzo dobra. Mama- dziecko nie lubi młodej mamy-
babci, mówi, że nie potrafiła o nią zadbać. Babcia nie lubi
dojrzałej mamy-córki, mówi, że była zła. Mama nie lubi
swojej córki, mówi, że jest niewdzięczna. Wnuczka kocha
babcię, mówi o niej, że potrafi kochać bezwarunkowo,
wnuczka-córka nie lubi mamy, mówi, że nigdy nie
potrafiła kochać.

The Plaid

Great-grandmother was a harsh woman, grandma said,
that she was a wicked woman. Mom has the best memories
of her grandmother, she says, that she was a very good woman.
Mom-kid doesn't like her young mom-grandma, she says,
that she wasn't able to care about her daughter. Granma
doesn't like her adult daughter-mother, she says, that
she was evil. Mother doesn't like her daughter, she thinks,
that she is ungrateful. Granddaughter loves her grandma, she said,
that she can love unconditionally, granddaughter-daughter
doesn't like her mother, she says, that she's never could love.
